The Call Logs list and filters
The list
Calls appear newest first and keep loading as you scroll. On a wide screen the first call is selected for you; on a narrow one you get the list alone, with a Calls link to get back from a call you opened.Filters
A Clear button appears once any filter is set. If nothing matches, the list says so — which is
different from having no calls at all.
The call detail pane
The pane reads top to bottom:- The header — the phone number, then the direction and the local date and time, then Agent · the voice agent that handled it, and a status pill. Completed calls are tinted with your brand colour; Failed and No answer are red; anything still running is amber.
- The stat strip — Direction, Duration and Date.
- Recording — an audio player you can scrub through. It reads “Loading recording…” while it fetches, and “Recording unavailable.” if it can’t be played. The whole card is missing when there’s no recording — recording is off by default, and you turn it on with Record calls in Advanced settings.
- ✦ Summary — a short written account of what happened on the call, produced automatically. Read this first; open the transcript only when the summary raises a question.
- Variables — the structured fields your agent was told to extract, listed as label and value. You define these in Post-call data schema on the agent editor.
- Evaluation — how the call scored, when Run post-call evaluation is switched on for that agent.
- Conversation — the full transcript, turn by turn.
Variables and Evaluation only appear when the agent was configured to produce them. An
agent with an empty post-call schema gives you a summary and a transcript and nothing else.
Placing a call
The Place a call button at the top of the list opens the dialer — “Dial out with a voice agent.”1
Pick an Agent
Choosing one pre-fills exactly the variables that agent declares, so you only have to supply
the values.
2
Enter the Phone number
In full international form, for example
+14155550100. It needs at least seven digits.3
Fill in the variables
Click Variables (optional) to expand the list. These are what the agent knows before it
dials — a customer name, an order reference, an appointment time. Click Hide variables to
collapse it again.
4
Click Call
The button shows Calling…, then confirms that the number is being called and that you can
close the dialog. Click Done. The call appears in the list as it progresses.
If the call won’t go through
When you open the dialer from inside a conversation, the phone number is filled in for you and
can’t be edited — it comes from the contact.
Next steps
Voices and tuning
Fix what you heard in the recording.
Automations
Trigger outbound calls without opening the dialer.
